Opera Auditions
Undercroft Opera is excited to announce that we are accepting audition applications for our upcoming winter production of La clemenza di Tito. All roles are open and available. The production will be staged and accompanied by the Undercroft Orchestra.

Performance Dates Online Vocalist Audition Request Form Requirements Principal: Two Operatic Arias, including one selection from a Mozart opera (preferably La clemenza di Tito). Please bring a Resume, Headshot and $15 Audition Fee to the audition. Chorus: One song in Italian-this can be an Aria, Art Song or Oratorio selection. Please bring Resume, Headshot and $10 Audition Fee to the audition. *Cover Policy: Undercroft Opera relies on the use of covers to provide support for principal roles. The duties of a cover include learning the role to performance level as well as participating in the ensemble for the production. Please do not hesitate to accept an offer to cover a role, as we strive to promote people who have been covers in the past to perform principal roles in future productions, and we treat covers (and principals, naturally) with the utmost respect. Since Undercroft Opera is a community company, we feel that this format provides an atmosphere of cooperation and fairness, and enables the company itself to present the highest quality production. |
Auditions are also heard on an ongoing basis by individual appointment for those who would like to participate in our Community Outreach Concerts, which include various operatic scenes and selections. There will be several of these concerts this year at various venues. We would love to hear you sing and to have you participate in this way with Undercroft Opera.

To schedule an audition for Community Outreach Concerts, please
send an email with the subject "Audition Request" to mbsederburg@undercroftopera.org
or fill out the Audition Request Form on our website. No fee is associated with
auditions for Community Outreach Concerts.
