This year, on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, Undercroft Opera is participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving.
As the 2015 calendar year draws to a close, Undercroft Opera is launching “An Undercroft Opera Community” campaign to raise $2500 to provide training for Undercroft Opera artists and support for the education-outreach programming. These funds will support a.) free vocal coaching for approximately 32 Undercroft Opera lead artists and b.) accompanist and artist fees for education-outreach concerts in the community.

In the spirit of giving, Undercroft Opera performed outreach concerts at The School for the Blind in the spring andThe Neighborhood Academy in September, and is scheduled to perform holiday concerts at Phipps Conservatory and the Monroeville Mall this December.
Don’t miss Undercroft Opera’s Winter production of Handel’s Giulio Cesare set in the groovy 1960′s coming up January 28 – 31, followed by an exciting NEW production of Don Giovanni May 27 – 30 with a brand new libretto featuring “Don Dracula” as the star, a venture into videography, and Victorian-era costumes.
