Summer 2010
La Traviata

La Traviata

Undercroft Opera is proud to present La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, our Summer 2010 Production!!! This production marks year 5 for Undercroft Opera, and to celebrate the occasion, we have moved from our former performance location to a beautiful new air conditioned venue.

Bellefield Hall Auditorium
315 S. Bellefield Ave.
Pittsburgh, PA 15213
*directions*.

Bellefield Hall is located in the heart of Oakland. It features a larger stage and orchestra pit area, a slightly larger, air conditioned auditorium and more comfortable seating for our patrons. We are extremely excited to be performing at Bellefield Hall!

La Traviata will be presented in English, with special permission from Pocket Opera in California. This is a newer, refreshing English translation by Donald Pippin that is sure to delight audiences! The production will be accompanied by the Undercroft Orchestra, conducted by Woody Brown. The Stage Director is Sally Denmead and Chorus Master is Rebekah Hill.
